Vitamin C Co has been designed to help maintain a higher circulating level of Ascorbic Acid in the body, for longer.

The co-ingredients included in this formulation has been shown to effectively buffer Vitamin C, thereby reducing stomach upset, and help to increase the half life time (t1⁄2 ).

The combination of Alpha Lipoic Acid, Grape Seed Extract, Pine Bark Extract and Citrus Bioflavonoids hold the potential to extent the half life of Vit C with up to 300%. This is extremely significant, as higher circulating levels of Vit C is required to make sure that the body’s immune cells, particularly the white blood cells, always have all the Vit C they need to fight off infections.

Vitamin C is required for at least 300 metabolic functions in the body, including tissue growth and repair, adrenal gland function and  healthy gums. In a study, 100 terminally ill cancer patients taking supplemental Vit C, lived four times as long as 1000 control patients who received no added Vitamin C. The 100 patients’ quality of life was greatly improved, and they experienced less pain.

Under the influence of Vitamin C, cholesterol is broken down and eliminated as bile acids.
